“Goblets
of Stars” - Night Harvest and Wine Tasting at
the Donnafugata Winery

What
is it? |
The
visit will begin among the illuminated vineyards where
it will be possible to taste Chardonnay grapes to
better appreciate their intense aroma. Members of
the estate staff will explain the choice of cultivation
methods that make these vineyards the standard for
modern viticulture.
After the presentation of the photovoltaic installation,
which provides 30% of the estate’s energy needs,
visitors will tour the winery..
The educational tour will conclude with the showing
of a video that focuses on some of the estate’s
most important initiatives, and images of the harvest
and wine-making process on the properties at Contessa
Entellina and Pantelleria. This, the island where
the sweet dessert wine Passito Ben Ryé is made.
Then, a tasting of the entire range of Donnafugata
wines, such as Vigna di Gabri, Mille e una Notte and
Ben Ryé, as well as Chiarandà and Tancredi.

Tenuta Stoccatello agriturismo (farm house inn). Rooms
are equipped with
in-suite bathrooms, TV and air-conditioner
